Generating sets

 

ELTECO, a.s. manufactures and delivers generating sets of various power outputs from 7 - 3100 kVA. Genset in connection with UPS creates an ideal supply system, which removes disadvantages of both separately working units (i.e. a relatively short back-up time of the UPS and a supply cut-off during the start of the genset). The UPS ensures uninterruptible power supply immediately after a mains failure and the genset that begins to supply electric energy normally within 10 - 15 seconds, prolongs this back-up time to several hours in accordance to the fuel tank capacity.
There is possible to use genset practically in four alternatives:
  1. as a single genset - used as a power supply, where the distribution mains is not available,
  2. as a back-up power supply without the UPS - used for equipments that do not require uninterruptible power supply,
  3. as a back-up power supply + UPS (for important circuits) - used when the power output of the genset is dimensed for all equipments and UPS are used to back up equipments requiring uninterruptible power supply. Other equipments will be supplied after a mains failure by the genset,
  4. as a back-up power supply + UPS (for all circuits) - used when the power output of the genset is dimensed for the  total power input of the UPS respectively of UPS – in this case all equipments are supplied uninterruptibly (on-line) after a mains failure.

Generating sets driven by gas engines are based on Cogeneration units series. All power ratings certified within 5%.
A - single phased
C - three phased
* - prime power: maximal power, which is available in pass various consecutive powers and which can take among allocation interval for maintenance and near allocation working condition.
** - standby power: maximal power, which is unit competent deliver for time to 500 hour per year, there out maximum 300 hour continued with interval allocation for maintenance and near allocation working condition.

 

Basic outfit

 

In the basic outfit gensets are delivered:
  • an open structure on the base frame
  • with a tank in the frame under the engine
  • with an ecological bath
  • sprung on the antivibrating elements
  • with a switch box for manual and automatic start
  • with a silencer - 30 dB (A)
Basic specification of the gensets delivery is completed with standard and optional accessories. The customer can choose:
  • electric switch box
    • equipment
    • regulation of the output voltage
    • a timer of automatic test starts
    • control
    • location of controlling and measuring instruments
    • location of the power parts of the switch box
    • increased protection grade IP of the switch box
  • a possibility of enlarging the tank capacity
  • fuel tank heating
  • a large-volume fuel tank connection
  • a manual or automatic pumped system for the external tank
  • an engine speed controller
  • an engine cooling system
  • heating of the oil bath
  • couple of exhaust silencers with total absorption - 45 dB (A) to the residential zones
  • a genset canopy
  • the genset in a container
The switch box of the genset has all important information about its status lead out.
