Single phased back-up power supplies of EM series
OFF LINE Back-up Power Supplies
Characteristics of OFF LINE UPS are equal to the LINE INTERACTIVE type with the exception of the input voltage range (it does not have its own AVR circuit).

LINE INTERACTIVE Back-up Power Supplies
LINE INTERACTIVE supplies of EM series are suitable for uninterruptible power supply of PC-type computers, computer cash registers, cash registers based on the PC with a fiscal module, electronic cash registers, telephone centres and faxes against electric current failures in places, where there is a high voltage fluctuation in the public mains. They are automatically switched over into the back-up mode in case of a current failure, then in case of an input voltage that is off the input voltage range (150 up to 268 V).
LINE INTERACTIVE UPS are noted for operation at a large input voltage range in the presence of the input mains, while they do not change over into the back-up mode. It is enabled by the built-in AVR circuit (Automatic Voltage Regulation). The output voltage stabilisation in the mains mode runs without changing over into the back-up mode, whereby the battery life-span is prolonged. The intelligent charger guarantees quick and optimal battery charging. The battery is charged also when the switch is in the off position. The UPS is equipped with an electronic fuse that protects the UPS against overload in the mains and back-up mode. A typical switch-over time into the back-up mode is 6 ms.
