Our company has delivered a complex system of back up power supplies for telecommunication equipment, measuring devices and computers.
The delivery contains 6 types of sub-deliveries consisting of generating sets, UPS, input and output switchboards and monitoring system.
Kazakhstan regions situated on the south of the country are in a large extent dependent on imported expensive electric energy. For these
reasons KEGOC company has decided to build up a north-south line from existing 600MW supply network by using a modern technology. This
line will fully replace imported electric energy for all regions. Though KEGOC company conferred management rights to several private
companies to co-operate in this field, it itself holds control over all high voltage lines, transformer substations and central dispatching
centres.
Delivered complex system of back up power supplies is installed on 85 sites. It backs up and powers telecommunication, transmission and
computer equipment on transmission line. Investments used in years 2002 – 2003 were only a part of 258,4 million dollars project for
upgrade of transmission line with participation of IBRD bank.
